Hill 10 Memorial

There were firebases on two hills at the end of Happy Valley. The firebases were Hill 10 and Hill 41. We ran patrols and night ambushes from these hills to try and stop enemy infiltration through the Happy Valley from the Ho Chi Minh trail. This area is west of Danang on the other side of Charlie's Hill 364.

Many of our old firebases sprouted war memorials after the war. Terry says "history is written by the victors".
