We were picked up at the Hanoi Airport by our driver and guide. On the way to our hotel we stopped by the US Embassy. There we visited with SSgt Alexandra Osgood. SSgt Osgood is the Detachment Commander for the US Marines assigned to guard the Embassy. We made arrangements to visit the Marines residence that evening after a short nap.
